No Absolute Privacy Online, MyPaper, 5 February 2010

Absolute anonymity is not possible on the Internet. The arrest of three teenagers on Sunday, aged 17 to 18, over racially insensitive remarks on Facebook demonstrates that very truth. 

With the doubtful concept of online privacy, everyone is socially responsible for their words and actions. Yet, many are still uncertain about concepts of action and consequence in cyberspace.

Our Bryan Tan commented that the ease with which people can instantly publish their views on the Internet, as compared to doing so through traditional media, can contribute to racist comments and allow defamatory views to surface.
